Find a Lost Siri Remote with Pulsing Proximity

Pair your phone with Apple TV, put the Siri Remote into search mode and follow pulsing proximity feedback as you move closer.

What you need: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth must be enabled. Finder support requires a compatible Siri Remote (2nd generation or later) paired with Apple TV.

Connect and start the search

Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as Apple TV and confirm Bluetooth is switched on.

Select your Apple TV

Open Find TV Remote and choose your Apple TV from the detected-device list.

Enter the PIN

Type the PIN shown on your television into Find TV Remote to approve the connection.

Start Siri Remote search mode

Open the finder after pairing. The compatible Siri Remote enters search mode and the app begins showing proximity feedback.

Follow the pulse

Move slowly around the room. Find TV Remote’s pulsing animation responds as you approach the remote.

If Apple TV or the remote does not appear

Compatibility

Find TV Remote supports Siri Remote or Apple TV Remote (2nd generation or later) for this finder experience.
